Crocheting is one of Americas best pastime. Easy to take with you where ever you may go. Easily done where ever you may be. If your the type of person who needs to do something all the time crocheting is for you. Crocheting will not only keep your hands busy but also your mind. When crocheting you have to keep track of the number of single, double or triple crochets you have done. For the expert it's simple but for the rest of us it's a little more tedious. Depending on the size of hook you are using for your project it may be a little harder to just go back and count out the number of stitches done. In my experiences keeping a pen and piece of paper near by are a good idea.

When crocheting I think the hardest thing is picking out the yarn. If your projects for a baby of course you want something soft. If your project is for a hat you may want something hard yet soft. How can this be? There are so many choices and so little time. I could spend hours in the yarn section trying to decide which is softer and so on.
